Created to assist and ensure that young women under
18 are encouraged therefore this category attracts individual
girl entries or school entries including after
school clubs and community group entries. Entrants will
be asked to create an invention/innovation, describe
it and explain what benefits it will bring – how will
it improve the quality of life – who will make
use of it - will it sell and why
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Judges will seek to find answers in the following areas:
Is it a real problem and
is it an original solution How imaginative is the
invention/innovation Is it simple and effective Presentation of idea Commercial potential (would
it sell)
