BFIIN 2002 AWARD WINNER
Gloucester chemist, Ithiel Mogridge produced the Safe Paint & Varnish Remover as a safer alternative to products already on the market. Ithiel, who owns a small chemicals company, Action Products Ltd, uses non-toxic ingredients to make DIY products. Her Safe Paint & Varnish Remover, for which she has filed a patent application, can be used to remove most oil and water-based paints and varnishes that a decorator will encounter. Approved as an environmentally safe product by the Ark Advisory Panel.
